Selena Gomez just rocked a challenging pair of boots in the coolest way this week. The young starlet attended the photo call of her new film, The Fundamentals of Caring, during the Sundance Film Festival held in Park City, Utah, on Friday.
For the occasion, she wore a fitted black sweater and black skinny jeans. Capping off the attire were shoes I found to be quite unexpected. Selena wore knee-high boots, but this set was different. They were detailed with lace-up, were pointed at the toes, and lined with fur trim on top.
The shoes reminded me of those chunky snow boots, only, sleeker and more sophisticated. They were also the kind you’d be intimidated to wear, but Selena owned the pair and made it work. In a nutshell, her monochromatic getup was simple and understated, but also quite sexy.

What are you thoughts on Selena’s boots? Will you wear the pair?
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any details on them online. I did, however, come across similar styles from Gianvito Rossi and Jimmy Choo. Perhaps these boots will be more to your liking?

Fierce! Which of the two do you prefer?
On a side note, if you fancy Selena’s crop sweater, you can grab the white version over at Nordstrom. It’s from A.L.C., and retails at $295.
To steal Selena’s style for much less, I will probably grab these Michael Kors boots instead, and then team them with black skinny jeans and a black turtleneck sweater from my closet:
