I think Selena Gomez just redefined how you can style vintage 80s loafers. The young actress and singer sported a pair while out and about in New York City on Wednesday, and how she wore it was nothing short of genius.

Selena was decked in a printed sundress from Acne Studios for the activity. The piece was detailed with a low-cut neckline and a wrap skirt bottom that showcased her legs. She capped off the number with a large tote, some round-rimmed eyewear, and a pair of vintage-inspired tasseled loafers.

It was an easy breezy getup that looked insanely effortless and cool. The mix was unexpected, but she looked so badass that you’d end up wanting to try the same outfit.

How do you like Selena’s outfit? Do you approve? I love the juxtaposition of masculine footwear with a feminine frock. Don’t you?

So would you wear a printed dress and team it with loafers like Selena here?

You can find her Acne Studios frock over at Nordstrom. Here’s a closer look at the piece. It’s a mixed-print number with an open-front design and a below-the-knee to tea-length hemline.

As for Selena’s loafers, they’re from Stuart Weitzman. Dubbed as “Manila”, the pair features patent leather uppers, gold rimmed tassels at the vamps, rounded toes, and thick rubber soles. Come to think of it, they actually look funky up close. You can get a pair for yourself over at Shopbop. They retail at $425.
