Salma Hayek attended the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Gala held in London on Thursday evening. For the occasion, the bodacious actress donned a stunning ballgown detailed with a feathery skirt and black ostrich-patterned lace overlay from McQueen’s fall 2008 collection. She then paired the frock with black jeweled t-strap sandals fashioned with fish scale cutouts. Curled locks parted at the center and a lattice-patterned box clutch were her finishing touches.

Wow, what a stunning dress. Would you agree? If you don’t have the personality to pull it off, the gown can overwhelm. But thankfully, Salma wore it well and she made it her own.
As for Salma’s fancy sandals, those are from Sergio Rossi judging by the looks of the straps. They’re crystal-embellished, feature inch-thick platforms, and 5-inch-tall heels. Salma’s pair comes in black velvet, but below is a closer look at the shoes in black satin:

If you like what you see, you can score Salma’s heels online. They retail at $990. If you want something neutral, they also come in nude satin and nude glitter. If you’re concerned about the cost, you can try the Vince Camuto Cristiana Platform Sandals instead:
