Talk about wanting all the attention. Rihanna left room for no one as she walked the Chinese-themed 2015 MET Gala red carpet last evening. All eye were on the popstar’s yellow-gold fur-trimmed robe by Chinese designer, Guo Pei. The piece literally occupied the whole area. It was long, wide, and even required some lifting as she walked up the stairs.
No doubt, she looked like royalty for the occasion, though I’d have to say nothing, not even Rihanna’s outfit, was able to top the naked dress Queen Bey wore for the night. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about that. Personally, however, I’d go with the yellow robe over the sheer gown on any given day.
Ri-Ri teamed the elaborate topper with a gold headdress, gold choker necklace, a pink bustier, and a pair of pointy gold strappy pumps.

What do you think of Rihanna’s latest red carpet choice? Did she nail it? It’s a very risky look, but I think she pulled it off perfectly. Would you agree?
As for Rihanna’s pumps, those are reportedly from Christian Louboutin. Sadly, I couldn’t find them anywhere. My hunch is they’re from an off-season collection, or from a new one that has yet to be released. In any case, if you fancy the silhouette, try these designer alternatives instead:
