Olivia Palermo showcased her eclectic fashion sense at the Moet & Chandon Pre-Golden Globes Party held in Los Angeles on Friday. The stylish socialite attended the occasion in all-black separates comprised of an embroidered velvet jacket, a keyhole-cutout blouse, and a black pencil skirt detailed with embellishments, as well as a crotch-high slit on the front. She then complemented the pairing with a beaded clutch and plum-colored heels.
It was a sexy combo that revealed enough skin without actually exposing too much. But did Olivia nail the look? You be the judge….

Well, what’s the verdict? Do you think Ms. P wore too many embellishments?
I mean, the clutch is beaded, so is the jacket, and so is her leather skirt. With all three combined, did she overdecorate or did she pull off the mix?
I’d say she killed it. Would you agree?
Olivia’s exquisite jacket is from Zara. The piece is already sold out, though, so if you want it, you’ll need to get creative. I’m not sure if you can find a similar one, but there’s no harm trying.

I couldn’t find any details on Olivia’s skirt and top either, but what I can tell you is that her shoes are from Brian Atwood. They’re the “Oriana” peep-toe sandals, a style crafted from watersnake leather painted in three lovely jewel shades of bronze, deep blue, and purple.
Here they are up close for you. The silhouette is both classic and elegant. You can wear the Oriana with a lot of outfits and they’ll last through seasons:
Brian Atwood Oriana Peep Toe Sandals in Bronze and Purple, from $285 (was $950)
Brian Atwood Oriana Sandals in Blue, $925
Like what you see?
You can grab them online if you want a pair. They’re on sale over at Net-A-Porter. To steal Olivia’s style, top off a black dress with an embroidered jacket, then punctuate the outfit using the “Oriana”sandals.
