Nicki Minaj hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards held in Glasgow, Scotland, yesterday (November 9). The rapper made a total of seven outfit changes, and that doesn’t include the heavily ruffled ensemble she used for her performance.

Speaking of the performance, Nikki sure exposed a good amount of cleavage when she performed in the frou frou-looking number onstage. The outfit included a low-cut bra and ruffled skirt that was short on the front but extremely long on the back. She teamed the gray getup with chunky tough-chick boots — something I found appropriate as the pair toned down the girliness of her attire.

While men were busy looking at Nicki’s cleavage, I was basically too distracted by her thick boots. I found them edgy and really cool, so I had to look them up.
Turns out, they’re by Alexander McQueen. Below is the black version up close and personal. They’re combat-inspired and feature thick lug soles that are about 40mm in measurement. These boots feature decorative eyelets along the center and single thick buckled straps that cross the vamps and the heel counters. The block heels on these shoes are about 6 inches tall, so they are very, well, tall:
