Mischa Barton, who shot to fame as Marissa Cooper in the hit teen series, The O.C. ten years ago, suffered a nip slip while sitting next to Martin Sheen at the screening of Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain, on Friday evening.

The actress wore a white collared shirt cut low on the front and a black a-line midi skirt for the occasion. She then teamed the combo with pink lip color and some black strappy gladiator sandals. It was an outfit that drew inspiration from Carolina Herrera’s signature style, but sadly the skirt didn’t flatter her figure, while the shirt should have had a double-sided tape to avoid the indecent exposure.

A simple tape to keep the shirt in place would have made a huge difference. But then again, I don’t think Mischa really cared about getting a nip slip to begin with.

So how do you like Mischa’s outfit? And what do you think of her footwear choice? Should she have worn a different pair? Something more flattering and elongating, perhaps?

Speaking of, Mischa’s sandals are from Jimmy Choo in case you’re curious. They’re the “Dario”, a style crafted from a mix of wide elastic and metallic gold leather. The shoes also feature decorative lace-up closures on the back, as well as 4-inch-tall heels. Below is a closer look at the pair:

Do you like what you see?

You can score the sandals online if you’re interested. They retail at $950. Personally, I think they will look better with short to knee-length pieces — not tea-length items. Jeans, trousers, and floor-length frocks will work well too.
