She’s had a fairly turbulent love life, and her wild partying ways have been widely televised through the television show that made her a name, Geordie Shore. And Marnie Simpson, 25, has decided to spill her secrets – by releasing an autobiography, aptly named Stripped Bare.
Attending the signing of her first literary venture at WHSmith in Liverpool on Saturday, the northern lass flashed her toned, tanned pins in a ruffled mini skirt. She added a pair of frayed denim heels to the stylish ensemble, and slipped a demure white blouse on top, covering her surgically enhanced assets.
Teaming a black YSL rucksack with the look, it was a far cry from the usual edgy style the reality star is known to sport. She wore minimal make up and posed with her index finger to her mouth as she proudly held up her Magnum Opus.
Reflecting on her condition, she told the publication: ‘I still suffer with body dysmorphia, but I’ve come to realise that I’m really lucky to be in the position I’m in. There’s more to life than just looking good.’
She added to NEW! magazine that all her willpower is being used to stop her from going under the knife anymore.
She explained: ‘The liposuction was the thing I had done and it was definitely the turning point for me. It was intense and painful and I was overwhelmed that I’d put myself through it. ‘I almost felt guilty about spending money on doing that when some people can’t afford to buy a house.
My mam made me the way I am and the way she looked at me afterwards was not a nice feeling.
