Kerry Washington knows the value of good social media marketing. When Scandal came out, the actress said she hired a social media consultant to help the show grow its popularity on Twitter. This, she revealed in an interview with InStyle editor, Ariel Foxman, at the SXSW Festival held in Austin, Texas, on Sunday.
For the occasion, the mom-of-one wore a jeweled black dress in an empire-cut a-line silhouette, and then capped off the number with a metal-trimmed purse, as well as a striking pair of strappy heels guaranteed to catch anyone’s attention.
I guess you could say Kerry also knows the value of wearing gorgeous footwear, because the pair on her feet really elevated her simple black style.

Kerry’s statement-making sandals are from Christian Louboutin. They’re the “Troubida”, a pair detailed with glam gold add-ons and Victorian-inspired elements. They also feature towering 5-inch-tall heels. They’re equal parts fierce and sexy, and I’d be surprised at anyone who doesn’t fancy them.
