We all like to please our parents, and Katherine Heigl is no different. The actress was spotted looking rather perfectly polished as she met her mother, Nancy, for a lunch date in Studio City on Thursday.
For the occasion, the Grey’s Anatomy alum wore a crisp white fit-and-flare dress detailed with a v-neckline that flattered her figure. She accentuated her tiny waist with a skinny belt, and then topped off the getup with a red purse and some animal-print heels.

How do you like Katherine’s lunch-date style?
I like the getup. It’s classy and elegant. And I love how she finished the white frock with statement extras — a red purse and animal print pumps.
Speaking of the pumps, don’t you just love how bold animal print can elevate a simple outfit? Had she worn a more toned down pair, I’m sure the impact wouldn’t have been the same.
Judging from the red soles, Katherine’s pumps are most likely from Christian Louboutin. I’ve yet to figure out which style, but they appear to be very similar to the Pigalle.
