Karlie Kloss was a vision to behold at the Daily Front Fashion Awards held in New York City on Thursday. The statuesque model channeled 80s fashion by wearing a floor-sweeping shirtdress to the event. It was a fiery red piece that commanded attention, and Karlie carried it well with on-point extras consisting of a black clutch and sexy strappy high heels.
For the evening, Karlie also chose a beauty look that was simple yet bold. She wore barely-there eye makeup so everyone can focus on her red lips, which by the way, matched the color of the dress. Her tresses were coiffed in a slightly messy updo and styled with a full set of fringes. Altogether, Karlie looked amazing; not sultry nor sensual, but certainly sophisticated, prim, and very classy.

I love the outfit. Can you say the same? It’s conservative in a way, but she made up for that with the thigh-high slits that exposed her best assets — legs!
Karlie’s long red shirtdress is by Ronald van der Kemp Couture, while her sexy heels are reportedly by Giuseppe Zanotti. The shoes are not available online, but the style is very reminiscent of Zanotti’s famous triple-strap “Harmony” sandals, which you can easily find in many colors on the web.
A taller version with more straps and with buckle details is also available for the taking. The rose gold pair below looks really gorgeous. You can find it over at Net-A-Porter:
If it’s the unique silhouette of Karlie’s sandals that you want, and you don’t mind grabbing another designer pair as an alternative, go with these Tom Ford sandals instead.
Speaking of Tom Ford shoes, Karlie’s strappy metallic heels from the cover photo above is actually from the designer’s line-up. The same applies to the slinky low-back dress. She wore both to the Tom Ford presentation on Wednesday during New York Fashion Week.
