Jessica Biel rarely makes an appearance, but over the weekend, the actress stepped out to attend the Independent Spirit Awards held in Santa Monica, California.
For the occasion, Mrs. Justin Timberlake wore a printed blue off-shoulder frock, and then teamed the number with blue suede heels. The shoes were quite dramatic as they stole the spotlight from the brunette beauty when she walked the blue carpet. They were detailed with bright yellow fringes on the t-bar and somehow clashed with the printed dress she wore.

How do you like Jessica’s outfit for the evening? Think she pulled off the mix or did she overdress? Should she have worn a different pair of shoes? Or should she have worn a simpler dress instead?
I think I’ll go with the latter. What about you?
Jessica’s printed blue dress is from Roland Mouret. If you’re surprised by the information, that makes two of us. Mouret is known for his structured shifts done in solid colors, so to find something flowy and printed from his collection is unexpected.
The dress is from the designer’s spring 2016 collection, so in case you fancy it, you may find it in stores in a few weeks. As for Jessica’s statement-making heels, they’re reportedly from Brian Atwood. I could not find them online, but below are similar styles, both of which are also sold out:
Brian Atwood Genie Sandals, sold out
B Brian Atwood Luciana Sandals, sold out
If you like the silhouette, I found these alternatives from Steve Madden that are definitely worth considering. They come in almost the same color save for the fringes, but will only cost you $50:
Madden Girl Demiiii Sandals, $50
If you don’t mind getting crafty, feel free to decorate the fringes on the t-bar with yellow beads to get the same look as Jessica’s Brian Atwood sandals.
