Looks like the Valentino show held in Paris on Sunday was all about ladylike silhouettes, tulle, and lace. Well, at least that’s how it seemed if I were to base my judgment on the celebrities who sat front row. Majority of them were in lace frocks and skirts, often sheer or see-through; and often with a tea-length hemline.

One famous gal who stood out was Jessica Alba. The actress and entrepreneur arrived at the event in a sheer red lace tea-length skirt and a striped blue button-up shirt tucked under. It was an unusual combination, but Jess pulled it off anyway. She complemented the pairing with wavy sideswept locks, red lips, and a studded clutch. Even more interesting was her choice of footwear. Unlike the others who opted for ladylike pumps and sandals, Jessica slipped into some buckled boots for a dose of edge.

As for Jessica’s buckled boots, below is a closer look at the pair. They’re detailed with grommets at the straps and feature exposed heel counters. They’re called the “Love Latch” booties and you can only find them on Valentino’s UK website. They’ll cost you £730, or about $940 excluding shipping, duties, and taxes.
