Jessica Alba is known for her always effortlessly chic on-and-off-duty style. In fact, we all have yet to find the actress wear something questionable. She’s one of the select few in this world who can pull off just about anything.
On Tuesday, the brunette beauty was spotted attending the Tory Burch party held in Paris during Fashion Week. For the appearance, Jess donned a navy and gold tea-length number detailed with the most exquisite pattern reminiscent of Eastern elements, much like the intricate embroidery you’d find on Morroccan kaftans. Capping off her ensemble were chandelier earrings, a clean updo, and dark red lip color. The whole getup was actually perfect up until you see the sandals she used to go with.
Instead of evening heels, the actress-turned-entrepreneur opted for a pair of strappy block-heel sandals that looked more casual than dressy. The color of the shoes matched the dress, but somehow, the pairing looked a bit off. Check out Jessica below, then tell me what you think:

Well, what do you think of the mix? Did the shoes do the dress any justice? Or did Jessica fail to impress with her block heel sandals?
The frock is very glamorous. In fact, velvet or suede heels in bordeaux or navy came to mind the moment I looked at it. Jessica, on the other hand, probably wanted to tone down the dress with the shoes. The pairing is unexpected, no doubt. But even though they don’t look perfect together, I would say Jess still pulled off the whole getup. I mean, we all can’t deny it. The woman looks good!
Jessica’s dress and sandals are from Tory Burch. I couldn’t find the frock online, but below is a closer look at her shoes in brown:
Dubbed as “Jones”, these babies feature four thick streamlined horizontal straps and chunky 4-inch-tall block heels. They’re the perfect sandals to sport with your summer frocks this season. You can find them online, over at the Tory Burch website. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them with an evening dress, though.
