Jennifer Lawrence is busy promoting Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 at the Comic-Con held in San Diego this week. The Academy award-winning actress wowed the crowd as she sashayed into the venue in a black floor-sweeping gown detailed with sexy cutouts. Jen complemented the frock with barely-there jewelry and neutral makeup, but made sure to add a dose of glam by capping off the outfit with strappy stilettos. With fresh hair extensions in place, Jennifer looked feminine and fabulous in the whole getup.

Do you think she was overdressed for the occasion, or was the unusual-looking LBD perfect for such an event?

I say it’s the latter. The frock doesn’t look formal at all, and I love the extra add-ons on the front. If anything, what made the outfit look dressy were the heels. Would you agree?

Speaking of the shoes, here’s a look at the pair. They’re actually exquisite up close. Crafted from suede and mesh, the sandals, which are dubbed as the “Nicobar”, are from Christian Louboutin. They feature 4-inch-tall covered heels and cutout straps that mimic a cage silhouette:

You may also find the Nicobar in red suede and gold online. If you fancy them, feel free to order away. They retail at a pricey $995.

For gals on a budget, you can try these mesh-and-leather peep–toe booties from Chinese Laundry instead. By the way, for those who want to know more about JLaw’s dress, it’s from Louis Vuitton’s resort 2016 collection:
