Let’s forget about Jennifer Lawrence’s somewhat unattractive leopard-print Isabel Marant moccasins for a moment and focus on the other fancy heels she wore in New York this week.
On Tuesday, the blond Hunger Games star stepped out in a pair of chain-detailed sandals and a leopard-print coat from Topshop (which you can buy here) to watch Bradley Cooper’s Broadway play, The Elephant Man. Jen wore black skinny pants and a V-neck sweater underneath the topper, and I must admit, she looked pretty chic in the combination.

Earlier that day, the actress sported a totally different outfit of gray coat over black skinny pants and a pair of black foldover ankle boots. Jen unexpectedly spiced up the combination with a fringed purse. I can’t say I loved the extra accessory, but her boots were quite fierce.

How do you like JLaw’s Tuesday-in-NYC style? Better yet, what do you think of her footwear choices?
I give her a thumbs up for both looks. The shoes she chose for the day are definitely fancy-worthy. The first pair is from Givenchy. They’re called the Mirtilla and they feature a t-strap silhouette decorated with chunky chain add-ons along the middle horizontal strap.

As for the foldover boots Jennifer wore during the day, those are by Alaia. Besides the distinct foldover detail, they feature triangular grommets and a lace-up design along the outer sides. And in case you’re interested to grab the boots, they’re currently at 40% off.

So which of Jen’s two looks do you like best. Better yet, which of the two shoe styles do you fancy? Are you a sandals person or a boots kind of gal? Can you see yourself wearing both? I think they’re quite versatile and can work with almost any outfit. Whichever you’re going to pick, I’m sure you won’t regret your choice.
