Jennifer Garner and Ben Afleck are reportedly trying to patch things up. I hope the rumor is true, because I want Jen to have her happy ending. She seems like such a nice person and such a wonderful mom to her kids.
Then again, if last Sunday’s trip to church was an indication of their relationship status, then I guess the rumors are simply that, rumors. Ben wasn’t around as Jen gladly took her children to church, and then the farmers’ market afterward.
For the day, the actress went casual and simple in a black sweater and gray mini skirt. To keep things a little interesting, she teamed her getup with dark sunglasses and a pair of scalloped gladiator sandals. Sure, the outfit was nothing special, but her shoes were.

Any thoughts on Jennifer’s mommy-on-duty style? Do you think she should have worn something more polished and put-together?
Know what? I think she looks alright. Jen is no Beyonce, JLo, or Heidi Klum, but she looks relatively good here. Her legs are toned, I don’t see any ill-fitting clothes, and I like the fact that she injected some texture into the otherwise boring attire by way of scalloped sandals.
Speaking of which, here’s a closer look at the pair. They are by Alaia and they feature scalloped straps all throughout. At the moment, you can find them at Net-A-Porter. A pair will set you back over $1000:

If you fancy the design but would like them with heels, the people over at Alaia have that too. Check out these versions, one of which is on sale over at TheOutnet. Both feature 4.5-inch-tall heels.
