Hilary Duff channeled Alice in Wonderland on Friday. The actress wore a frilly frock in light blue that was detailed with lace all over. She complemented the cleavage-bearing piece with scalloped sandals that made the getup even more, er, well, frilly. Capping off the ensemble were a simple gold box clutch and smoky-eye beauty look.

I wasn’t too fond of her fashion choice for the front row appearance, but you may have a different opinion. Check out Hilary below, then tell me your thoughts.

Well, what do you think? Did Hilary nail the look or fail it? I think some minor modifications would have done wonders . Would you agree?

If I were Hilary, I’d remove the sleeves of her dress and wear my hair down. I’ll probably wear a more classic-looking pair of sandals like the Stuart Weitzman Nudist, or better yet, rock some light gray booties. What about you?

Considering she was watching a Zimmermann show, I’d like to assume that the frock is from Zimmermann. It has the same aesthetic as the rest of the label’s current offering. It isn’t available yet, but you can grab similar pieces that are just as romantic and playful.

As for Hilary’s sandals, I couldn’t find any details on the pair, but if you like the girly scallop details, you can also get that from the Loeffler Randall “Amelia” sandals. They’re quite affordable too. Check ’em out below. Not bad for a pair of substitutes. Would you agree?
