Diane Kruger is joining the naked dress bandwagon. But dare I say nobody wears it better than her?
I mean, there are those who simply look tacky and cheap in a naked dress, and then of course, there are the ladies like Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce, who manage it and make it their own.
But here’s the thing, probably only Diane Kruger can make a naked dress look romantic, elegant, and classy. Yes, classy. Would you believe?
The actress attended the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party held in Beverly Hills on Sunday in an exquisite fall 2016 Reem Acra gown — a piece straight off the runway — that begged to be photographed. It was crafted in bordeaux lace and beaded and fringed in the right places to keep the blond beauty decent.
There was no underwear in sight, so I’m guessing she resorted to stick-on thong and brassieres to look perfect in the frock. She complemented the number with smoky-eye makeup, drop earrings, a black clutch, and a pair of peep-toe pumps that I almost missed, but thankfully managed to catch after she turned to pose for the press.

What a mesmerizing gown! Would you agree?
I don’t know how she does it, but she looks flawless in the sheer number; not at all vulgar. Here’s a closer look at Diane’s exquisite frock:
Reem Acra Fall 2016 Gown
You’ll need to wait a few months before you can get your hands on the piece. I’m assuming they’ll release it a month of two before September. You may also check with the nearest Reem Acra stockist in your city to see if they can give it to you ahead of schedule. Just remember that a design gown like that comes with a corresponding price tag.
Diane’s jewelry are reportedly from Sylva & Cie while her pumps are from Jimmy Choo. I initially thought the shoes were jeweled at the heel counters, but I was mistaken. The intricately embroidered lace at the bottom is actually from the dress, leaving me to assume Diane chose simple peep-toe pumps in black suede to go with the whole outfit.
No details have been released on the pair yet, but the silhouette reminds me of the “Dahlia”. The style features 4.5-inch-tall heels, inch-thick platforms, and an open-toe design.
You can find the Dahlia online. They’re also available in red patent and metallic gold, both of which retail a little less than the lace.
