Dakota Johnson stepped out in a striking outfit while in Barcelona on Tuesday. The Fifty Shades actress donned a simple white slip dress perfect for the hot weather, but made sure all eyes were on her by teaming the piece with metallic blue mules and a matching blue-trimmed native purse. She also complemented the getup with short wavy locks reminiscent of the the 20s era. Come to think of it, the whole outfit was Gatsby-inspired infused with a modern twist by way of accessories.

Do you like Dakota’s latest street style? Can you appreciate the combination, or do you think she looks lousy in that slip dress?
I think she looks alright. Would you agree?
It’s not a common outfit for running around town, but I think it looks easy and elegant. I believe that was the look she was going for. The shots of metallic blue are an unexpected surprise. At first glance, the stark difference in color looks harsh, but the longer you stare, the combination actually grows on you.
Dakota’s slip dress is from a label called Apiece Apart. It is from the fall 2015 collection, so I doubt you’ll find it anywhere for the moment. Her purse, on the other hand, can be purchased online. It’s from Mark Cross — the “Manray” tote — and the white variant can be found over here.

Now on to Dakota’s most striking extras. Sadly, I could not find any deetz on her metallic blue mules. Could they be from Prada, Chanel, or perhaps Dior? What do you think?
While I continue digging, allow me to leave you with a couple of bright blue designer mules to ponder on. These don’t have block heels, but dare I say they are a lot sexier. If you want to copy Dakota’s summer attire, simply wear the shoes with a white slip dress, then cap off with dark sunnies and a native purse.
