Dakota Fanning is all grown up. Sometimes, an information like that is hard to process — most especially if you’ve seen the person as an adorable toddler. Dakota simply grew right before our eyes, and this was even more evident during the International Day Of The Girl celebration held at the Empire State Building in New York City on Tuesday.

For the occasion, the actress slipped into a fiery red frock that showcased her slender legs. She complemented the number with smoky-eye makeup, nude lip color, and flattering neutral slides that elongated her pins. Altogether, Dakota simply looked stunning.

I think Dakota looks best in red. Would you agree?

The color brings out her pale skin, which by the way, is something one should be proud of. I get that a little tan is good, but if you’re born with alabaster skin, why not embrace it like Dakota here?

Dakota’s red frock is by Alexander McQueen. The silhouette of the dress is very simple, so I’m sure you can find a similar piece that’ll fit your budget. Here’s onee from Adelyn Rae that’ll only set you back $88:

Dakota’s slides are obviously by Christian Louboutin. As to which style, that I’ve yet to figure out. However, they do look very similar to the “Akenana” sandals below. The silhouette is almost identical save for the extra strap at the toe area:

Like what you see?

This particular variant is crafted from python leather and feature chain-link embellishments on the contrasting black straps. They also come with super slim 4-inch-tall heels. You can find the Akenana in python over at Net-A-Porter. They retail at $1165. Given the color, I would personally style them with a black dress.
