I don’t get some people. Aren’t new mothers allowed to step out for say, dinner, a few weeks after giving birth? Are they really supposed to just stay at home??
Chrissy Teigen, who just gave birth two weeks ago, received a lot of flak for stepping out to grab dinner with husband John Legend over the weekend. She received a lot of bashing via Twitter, and I just could not understand why people were so quick to judge.
Yes, she probably left the baby with her mom — whom she’s very close to — or maybe a sitter, but it was only for a few hours. It’s rather unfair to call her bad names for trying to get some me-time. Would you agree?
Now about that dinner date, I thought it might be good to point out how fabulous she looked considering she just gave birth. Chrissy wore a textured bodysuit for the evening, and then teamed the piece with cropped black leather pants and a tan leather coat. Complementing the mix was a flawless beauty look of smoky eyes, nude lip color, dewy skin, and sleek tresses. The Sports Illustrated model then capped off her getup with a beige box clutch and a pair of strappy statement footwear.

How do you like Chrissy’s post-pregnancy style? I say she looks amazing! Would you agree?
I love her strappy heels. It’s just too bad I couldn’t find any details on the pair, because they look really sexy. That said, if you’re interested in Chrissy’s bodysuit, that one is from Balmain and you can find it at SAKS.

The suit retails at almost $2o00 so it is very pricey. If you want to steal Chrissy’s style for less, just grab a similar piece, and then team with cropped black skinny pants and a long camel coat. Cap off with strappy heels, and you’re all set!
While I tried searching for Chrissy’s sandals, I was not so lucky — even after weeding through hundreds of shoes online. I did, however, come across these strappy heels from Giuseppe Zanotti and Jimmy Choo. These also come with swirly curved straps and sky-high heels. If you have the budget, perhaps these might interest you:

For the gals who do not want to overspend, the Mindy sandals from Schutz are worth considering. They’re not as pricey, but will give you the same look:
