When it comes to looking fabulous while expecting, I used to think of Blake Lively. These days, however, Chrissy Teigen has taken over. The model is literally on a roll.
As you know, she’s several months on the way, but she has not let the pregnancy hamper her style. I’ve yet to find her wear anything questionable. And get this, she’s always in heels. I don’t know how she manages it, but kudos to her.
Over the weekend, Chrissy stepped out with her husband, John Legend, in New York City. For the day, she rocked a skintight dress that flaunted her baby bump and cleavage, and then capped off the number with a plush velvet coat. Also complementing the attire were clear-paneled booties with 4-inch-tall pin-thin heels. The whole getup was in black so you can imagine how elegant and sophisticated she looked.

I love her maternity style. It’s very polished and put-together. I agree, not all pregnant women can step out in high heels, but hey, we can all still take a cue from Chrissy here fashion-wise. If you analyze her sartorial choices, they’re mostly black, beige, or white — ergo, the key is to go monochromatic. Skip the 4-inch heels if you can’t handle ’em and go with kitten heels instead. Or, you’re free to wear flats, if you have to.
Speaking of style, as much as I’d like to elaborate on Chrissy’s attire today, I cannot. No details have been released on the outfit yet.
