I’m amazed by how some women can walk in 5-inch-heels even while pregnant. Chrissy Teigen, who is expecting her first child with singer John Legend, not only attended Target’s Wonderland event in a micro-mini dress that showcased her slender legs, but she also teamed the number with a pair of gold platform sandals that were seriously sky high.
In fact, it was a little scary to watch her teeter in the pair. One wrong move and she could have easily slipped, broken her ankle, or worse, hurt the baby. Of course, none of those things happened since the model is quite accustomed to wearing super tall designer footwear.

I love her outfit. Don’t you?
It’s simple, immaculate, elegant, glamorous, and sexy. The hemline of her dress is extremely short, but she managed to pull it off without exposing anything. Topping off the dress with a white coat was a good move as well. It really elevated the getup and made her look like a million bucks.
Chrissy’s micro-mini shift dress is from Victoria Beckham. You can find the piece online. It’s on sale at $477. Here’s a look at the number:

As for Chrissy’s jaw-dropping heels, they’re from Kurt Geiger. The pair reminds me a lot of the horsebit platform sandals from Gucci, except with a much more accessible price tag. Here’s a look at both:
Gucci Horsebit Detailed Platform Sandals, $750
KG by Kurt Geiger Hero Gold Platform Sandals, $215
Both styles feature tall block heels, thick platforms, and slender ankle straps. The pair from Kurt Geiger is taller at 6 inches so if height is your priority, grab it pronto. The sandals will set you back $215. Compared to the Gucci heels, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
To steal Chrissy’s style for less, pair the sandals with a short white shift dress, then top off with a matching long coat. Voila! You’re good to go!
