Have you ever seen Charlize Theron in a clown costume?

Well, if you haven’t, just watch Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The statuesque actress made an appearance while dressed in a clown outfit —  complete with colorful clown platform shoes!

The whole outfit, which included shiny gold trousers and a beaded blazer, was reportedly picked out by Jimmy himself. While the getup was very unlike Charlize, I must say, she managed to rock it with flair.

Soon after, Charlize swapped the costume for a short white skirt and a light chambray shirt. She teamed the combo with black strappy pointed pumps.  The whole mix was simple and casual, but she looked sexy and elegant nonetheless.

How do you like Charlize’s outfit choice for her Jimmy Fallon appearance?

She wore a dressier outfit for her guesting on Good Morning America, and even switched into a white lacy piece later in the day. While I half expected her to put on something “nicer” for the Jimmy Fallon show, I think she still looked stunning in the laid-back attire she chose.

Charlize’s chambray shirt is from J Brand, but I couldn’t find any deetz on her skirt and pumps. The shape of the heels on her shoes make me think they’re from Giuseppe Zanotti, but I couldn’t find the style in the designer’s line-up. Any ideas?

If you love the strappy silhouette, you can try these pumps from Gianvito Rossi instead. The “Carey” stilettos have more straps on them, but they’re just as sexy and as sophisticated:

As for those who are curious about the gray buckled open-toe booties Charlize wore for her GMA appearance, the shoes are from Tabitha Simmons. Sadly, they’re no longer available online so you’ll need to do your research if you want to get your hands on them.
