As promised, today I’m featuring Cara Delevingne and the dazzling outfit she wore to the premiere of her new movie, Paper Towns, in New York on Tuesday.

While her sister, Poppy, turned heads at the event in a floral frock complete with matching red stilettos, Cara made sure all eyes were on her by slipping into a fully sequined mini dress detailed with a diagonal cutout on the front to expose just a teeny-tiny bit of her cleavage. She complemented the number with a loose braid, vampy red lips, and some equally dazzling sandals.

Between this getup and the head-to-toe Alexandre Vauthier attire she wore last week (which was totally amazing), I would say it’s a tie. I love the sparkly dress; the cutout detail is really sexy. It’s a very glam and sophisticated. It will probably look a little too much for a dinner date, but for the red carpet, it’s perfect.

Now since we’re all about shoes here, let’s zoom in on the pair. According to reports, Cara’s dress is from Saint Laurent, but no designer name was dropped on her sandals. Up close, you can see that they have wide single bands on the front, covered heel cups, and slim straps at the ankles.

Can you ID Cara’s strappy pair? Any ideas?

The design is not exactly unique enough to be easily identified with a specific label (unlike the “Nudist” from Stuart Weitzman). I’m thinkin’ they’re either from Saint Laurent or Manolo Blahnik, because they look very similar to the “Jane” and “Chaos” sandals below:
