It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on Amanda Seyfried here on the blog. I hear the actress likes to keep a low profile whenever she can. In fact, I’m guessing she probably prefers spending time with her dog rather than go shopping and whatnot.

On Monday, however, Amanda came out of hiding to attend the premiere of her new movie, While We’re Young.  For the occasion, she wore a printed bright red frock detailed with a pussy-bow top and a pleated skirt.

No doubt, the dress was very 80s-inspired, but the petite blonde decided to inject a dose of edge to the look by complementing it with a braided hairstyle and fierce cat-eye makeup. She then capped off the outfit with  platform ankle-strap sandals that matched the color of her dress.

How do you like Amanda’s outfit? Do you approve of the hairstyle? What about the makeup? Better yet, are you digging the heels?

Amanda’s dress is from Valentino (pre-fall 2015 collection), while her red platform sandals are from Givenchy. They feature platforms and unique gold-detailed heels. Below is a slightly similar variant fashioned with the same gold-heel design for your reference:

Amanda’s sandals are not available online, but in case you fancy grabbing something similar, try the “Nadia”instead. They feature thin straps and very walkable 3-inch tall heels:

You may also consider these Shark-Lock platform sandals. Unlike Amanda’s pair, these don’t have come with gold tips at the heels, but they do feature platforms and sky-high stilettos:
