Jamie Chung is one of those celebrities who have managed to stay relatively relevant in the industry while enjoying a degree of privacy. In most cases, the photos we see of the actress are from events, although she does have a blog that she regularly updates with on-point OOTDs. Other than that, the paparazzi do not hound her 24×7.
When it comes to fashion, Jamie’s sartorial choices have always been chic, stylish, and put together. But over the weekend, the Asian beauty tried a different formula with her look. She went sultry and sexy in a floor-grazing slip dress for a magazine party held in New York. The piece was cut low on the front and came detailed with a thigh-high slit to showcase her slender legs. Complementing the getup were a pair of ankle strap sandals and some fine jewelry. It was a simple ensemble, but with lots of skin on display. In short, the outfit was unexpected.
Did she nail the look? Well, you be the judge…

Any thoughts? Did Jamie nail the look or did she fail to impress you?
I think the color of the gown looks off. She looks washed out with it. A darker shade would have worked. Other than that, I’d say she looks okay. What about you?
Jamie’s whole getup appears to be straight off the Forward catalogue. Her dress is by Michelle Mason, which you can easily find at the online store. But instead of teaming the frock with Saint Laurent sandals (as seen on the model), she used a more affordable pair from Stuart Weitzman — the Nudist.

I couldn’t find Jamie’s version of Nudist, but you can also find the pristine white and blue suede at Forward. They stand at 4.5 inches tall and feature barely-there straps on the front and ankles. A set will cost you $398.

Now back to Jamie. I actually prefer the outfit she wore to the SkinCeuticals event last week. The fashionista dressed to impress in an off-shoulder white frock, which she teamed with gorgeous cobalt blue extras from Dolce & Gabbana — a lock detailed handbag and a pair of embellished slides.

If you’re digging Jamie’s white dress, you’ll need to find it on foot. It is sold out online. The piece is by Elizabeth and James, and it’s called the “Kenji”. On a side note, her two blue accessories from Dolce cost her almost $4000. The slides, which are available at Matches, retail at a pricey $795, while the purse, dubbed as the “Rosario”, will cost you $2395.
