Alexa Chung sure has carved out a name for herself in the fashion world. She became muse to premium labels like Longchamp and Chanel, had a designer bag named after her by British brand Mulberry (the “Alexa”), and collaborated with numerous brands like Madewell, Marks & Spencer, and Superga for capsule collections that sold out fast.
Alexa’s distinct dress sense has earned her the title of taste-maker and style star. To top that, the model is also a TV host, and even managed to snag Tarzan himself — Alexander Skarsgaard — for a boyfriend. With her love for fashion and connections in the industry, I guess you could say it’s but natural for the model to finally launch an eponymous line.
On Tuesday, the British beauty was seen out and about in New York City running errands. She chose a casual outfit to get her through the day, one that included a graphic t-shirt and a short button-front skirt. Complementing the combo were on-point extras of cat-eye sunnies, an envelope clutch, and cute mary jane espadrilles

Come Wednesday, the fashion plate was spotted running errands once again. This time, however, she wore an 80s-inspired getup of printed shirt teamed with high-waist crop jeans. Alexa finished the combination with the same cat-eye sunnies, but switched into a more elaborate pair of espadrilles detailed with ankle-tie closures and wedge heels.

What are your thoughts on Alexa’s street style? Between the two outfits, which do you prefer?
Her legs are extremely thin. They don’t look nice, in my opinion, but somehow, she always manages to pull off those short hemlines. The second attire is a little retro, but at least she doesn’t look anorexic in it.
Alexa’s tiny button-front skirt is from the collab collection she did with AG, while her black envelope clutch is from Longchamp. Both are no longer available, but you can find her Tabitha Simmons mary jane espadrilles on the designer’s website. They’re crafted from linen and suede materials, and feature thin jute bottoms.

I couldn’t find any info on Alexa’s second outfit, but if you wish to steal the look, you can do so with these affordable espadrilles from Soludos. They’re feminine and flirty — just the perfect pair to add to your collection.
