I’m sorry. I really am. I don’t mean to sound critical or anything, but when I saw these pictures of Olivia Munn today, her outfit immediately reminded me of a tablecloth. Well, my grandma’s tablecloth, that is.
No, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying she looks bad. In fact, it’s the opposite. She looks fabulous and she just made a “tablecloth” look stylish. The mixed-checks attire is not only fashion-forward, but sophisticated as well. Plus, I love how she topped it off with a structured jacket and classic black pumps. The whole ensemble is on-point.

Do you like Olivia’s press tour style? Would you wear the outfit?
The top and skirt are from Tanya Taylor. They’re not available online, though, so best to visit a stockist in your city if you wish to try ’em out for size.

Earlier in the day, Olivia was spotted in a sexier ensemble comprised of a leg-baring LBD by A.L.C., the same black jacket from Balenciaga, and a pair of thigh-high boots black suede boots.

Between the two outfits, which do you prefer on Olivia? I like the LDB and thigh-boots combination. It’s classically sexy. What about you?
There’s speculation that Olivia’s high-heeled thigh-high boots are from Stuart Weitzman. Some are saying they’re the “Highstreet” while others claim they’re the “Alllegs”. Both styles feature pointier toes and slimmer heels than the classic “Highland”. However, it’s also very possible that she’s wearing a different label because the heels on her boots are much slimmer than the two styles:

Stuart Weitzman Highstreet Over the Knee Boots, $798
So can you ID Olivia’s boots?
My hunch is they’re from Manolo Blahnik. The silhouette and paneling look very similar to these Blahnik boots I found over at Barneys. These don’t come with strings on the back and they don’t have black outer soles either, but everything else looks the same:
Manolo Blahnik Pascalarehi Over the Knee Boots, $1695
For the frugal fashionista who doesn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on boots, try these $112 alternatives from ASOS. Pair with a black mini dress and a black coat or jacket to steal Olivia’s style:
ASOS Kindred Pointed Over the Knee Boots, $112
Also, if you’re looking to check out Olivia’s dress, purse, or jacket, I’ve included them below. All of the pieces are pricey, though, so be prepared to splurge:
