Believe it or not, someone finally upstaged the stylish Olivia Palermo. The pretty socialite was spotted wearing the same outfit Gigi Hadid wore on Tuesday. Problem was, Gigi looked a lot better in the dress.
The frock in question — a military-inspired beige maxi detailed with two slits on the front. Olivia used her dress with brown pointed pumps and a printed black-and-white box clutch to the opening of Audemars Piguet in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

Gigi, on the other hand, wore the same dress for her appearance on Live! with Kelly and Michael the day before. She complemented the number with big bouncy hair, a long beige coat, and a pair of nude pointy pumps. In a nutshell, Gigi looked coordinated and perfectly on-point. And sartorially speaking, she looked so much better than Olivia, I’m afraid.

So who do you think wore the dress better, Olivia or Gigi?
My vote obviously goes to Gigi. I love how she topped off the frock with a long coat. She looked more elegant with it. I also like how she kept things monochromatic. In doing so, she looked classier. Plus, she really owned the dress.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Olivia still looks good here. But the maxi drowned her a bit. It’s a size too big. Yes? Also, the color of her shoes — sexy as they are — doesn’t go well with the beige dress.
If you’re crushing on the maxi, it’s from Self Portrait. You can grab it online for a pricey $590. It’s very 80’s-inspired yet subtly updated with double split-front details.

As for their pointed pumps, Gigi’s are the famous Kurt Geiger “Britton”. They feature a unique heel silhouette that is part-wedge and part-cigarette stiletto. The shoes also come with pointed toes and stand at four inches tall:

I couldn’t find any details on Olivia’s pumps, but based on appearance, I’m guessing they could be from Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo, or Gianvito Rossi.
