While there are celebrities who don’t look as good without makeup, some are simply genetically blessed. Those are the celebrities I truly envy. Take Leighton Meester, for example. The former Gossip Girl star was recently spotted attending an event in Tokyo while looking completely au naturel.
For the occasion, Leighton kept things simple and ladylike by wearing a tri-colored halter dress and some classic black pointy stilettos. She complemented the getup with practically zero jewelry and wore her brown hair down in soft waves. It was a very understated kind of style, but the actress looked stunning.

Her skin looks dewy and gorgeous. You can tell she barely has any makeup on in these pictures because her freckles are showing. Yes, I’m sure she used some mascara and eyebrow pencil to enhance her features. And yes, I’m also quite sure she used a tinted moisturizer, at least. But the coverage is so sheer you can barely see any of it.
