Olivia Wilde stepped out bare-faced in New York on Thursday. The actress was also decked in a rather interesting ensemble of sheer skirt teamed with a black t-shirt, edgy leather biker jacket, and a pair of Western-inspired ankle boots. She then complemented the pairing with dark eyewear and a large tote.
It was an unusual combination, and I couldn’t decide whether to like it or not. But the thing with Olivia is that she always looks confident in whatever she wears and this was no exception. She owned it. Whether or not she nailed the look is entirely up to you. Check out Olivia’s outfit then decide:

Well, any thoughts? Did she nail the look or does the combination hurt your eyes? Would you wear her outfit? If you could tweak something or change something, what and which item or set of items would it be? The shoes? The skirt?
Honestly speaking, I’m not a fan of the sheer skirt. Are you?
I couldn’t find any details on the piece, but her jacket is from Balmain while her sunnies are from Ray-Ban. As for Olivia’s pointed Western-inspired boots, they’re from Frye. Dubbed as the “Sacha”, the style boasts of sophisticated pointed toes, tapered 1.5-inch-tall stacked heels, and smooth leather uppers.

The boots look nice. I think they’ll work great with skinny jeans, cropped trousers, shorts, and mini dresses. How will you style them if you had a pair?
By the way, Olivia literally did the high-low mix with this outfit of hers because the Balmain jacket literally costs a whopping $2745.
If you wish to steal her look for less, simply grab the boots and team them with similar separates. The boots also come in cognac, taupe and dark brown.
