Jennifer Lopez is one of those people who can pull off just about anything. On Wednesday evening, the singer was spotted heading into STK Steakhouse in a rather retro-looking ensemble of black-and-white long-sleeved mini dress teamed with black thigh-high suede boots. The frock was nothing like your ordinary shift or sheath. It came detailed with gold buttons from top to bottom. She punctuated the getup with her hair worn down in loose waves.

Jennifer’s mod black-and-white getup is from Rachel Zoe. Sadly, the piece isn’t available yet because it’s from her fall 2015 collection. If you want it, you’ll need to wait a while. But if you don’t mind grabbing a different style, here’s another suggestion from yours truly. This dress is more prim and proper, but it also has a short hemline so it’s sexy.

Team the dress with black suede thigh-high boots to add drama to your look. I couldn’t find any details on JLo’s boots, but my guess is they’re probably from Jimmy Choo or Gianvito Rossi. In fact, they look similar to these thigh boots from Gianvito Rossi, only, this pair comes in smooth leather:
