What is it with celebrities and naked dresses?
It’s as if they can’t have enough of them. At the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party on Sunday, a lot of lovely ladies wore sheer paneled gown. Diane Kruger managed to look classy and romantic in her Reem Acra frock, but I seriously don’t know what to think of the outfit Gwen Stefani chose for the evening.
The rocker mom turned fashion entrepreneur wore a scarlet red number detailed with “rose petals” in the right places to keep her looking decent. The rest of the gown, however, was pure mesh, making her appear very naked (well, I think that was the objective). Gwen complemented the dress with granny panties, her signature red lips, a red velvet clutch, and red pointy pumps. Of course, what people couldn’t stop talking about was her other arm candy for the night — Blake Shelton.

Scantily-clad Gwen Stefani aside, I like how she didn’t mind that Blake was in jeans while she was dressed to the nines. Sure, he should have worn something more appropriate for the occasion, but you know what they say, what matters is what’s on the inside.
Gwen’s sheer red frock is from Yanina Couture. I couldn’t find any details on her clutch, but the red pumps are the “So Kate” from Christian Louboutin. They are not available in red patent online, but here are the bordeaux snake and orange patent versions:
