Emma Stone defied the norm when she attended last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards. For the occasion, the 26-year-old redhead slipped into a short but tailored tuxedo dress that was detailed with a sheer floor-grazing skirt. The frock highlighted her slender legs and gave everyone a peek at the fancy high heels she wore to go with.

How do you like Emma’s latest red carpet choice? Hit or miss?

I think she nailed this one. But I’m not going to deny that she has had even better fashion moments.

This masculine-inspired attire is a little unconventional. It’s elegant, sophisticated, sexy, and powerful. However, it’s also not for everyone’s consumption. Some may find it lacking, while others will say it looks awful. Personally, however, I think she looks wonderful.

Emma’s tailored dress is by Christian Dior, while her ankle-strap heels are by Christian Louboutin. They’re the “Pensamoi”, a style detailed with floral appliqués on the heel counters. These sandals come in various color combinations and are crafted from satin or velour material:

They’re very feminine, flirty, and flamboyant thanks to the floral add-ons. I would say they’re the perfect shoes to wear with outfits that need an instant pick-me-upper. I’m not sure if the appliques are detachable, but you’re welcome to verify it with a Christian Louboutin associate before making your purchase.
