Victoria Beckham has been giving her classic shift dresses some rest. In place are bulky sweaters and midi pencil skirts that cover up from head to toe and drown the designer’s pint-sized figure.

On Tuesday, Posh was spotted out and about in New York City in a navy blue ensemble of chunky pullover teamed with, well, you guessed it, a midi pencil skirt. She capped off the combo with black knee high boots, dark sunnies, and a shoulder bag.

What do you think of Victoria’s latest street style?

I prefer her in silhouettes that are cut close to the body, but I can’t deny that despite looking overpowered by clothing, she still looks good. They’re not her best fashion moments, but as a designer, you can understand why she has to be a walking advertisement of her label.

Victoria’s sweater is currently on sale at Lane Crawford. It’s down to $450 from a ridiculously high $1495. I agree, $450 isn’t cheap, but if you feel that it’s a good bargain, go ahead and shop.

Now let’s talk about her boots. Can you appreciate the square-toed loafer-inspired design? Is it something you would wear?

Victoria’s boots are also from her owns fashion line. If interested, they are on sale too — and much cheaper than the sweater. If you have $370 to spare, head over to Net-A-Porter and order away.
