Everyone’s talking about how Prince William joined Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi for a quick sing-along during the Winter Whites Gala held at Kensington Palace in London last Tuesday. But I, on the other hand, can’t help but wonder exactly what pair of shoes Ms. Swift wore with her very beautiful ball gown.

Yep, I admit, I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan. I can’t help it. I love her style and I think she’s really pretty. In fact, I’d say she killed it at the event. She channeled old Hollywood glam by setting her hair into a short and wavy side-swept do, then wore a fantastic frock from Reem Acra.

So what heels did she wear to go with? Can you guess? I found this picture that may give you a bit of a clue:

Well?

After researching online, I found out that she slipped into a pair of Rene Caovilla “Wishbone” platform sandals for the night. The silhouette of the sandals follow that of a wishbone, hence the name. The shoes are already sold out online, but here they are for you (in a less glittery style).

They retailed at a really pricey $1295 — as in, WOW, that’s some seriously expensive footwear, yah?

Now if you want to look like Taylor here for one of your black-tie soirees this holiday season, here’s a really nice frock from Adrianna Papell that will earn you a unanimous nod. You can find this one at Zappos.

And then of course, for the final touches, make sure you pair the frock with gorgeous heels. After all, accessories can make or break an outfit. To achieve the full Taylor Swift effect, I recommend these purse-friendly sandals from Caparros. They look almost like the Wishbone sandals from Rene Caovilla, only without the hefty price tag:
