Last December, Selena Gomez announced that she was going to take some time off to “work on herself”. Well, it seems that this January, Selena is officially done with her hiatus. The actress and singer was spotted promoting her new movie, Rudderless, at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival early this week. Selena was also joined by her big-time co-stars, Billy Crudup and William H. Macy during the promotion.
For the portrait session, Selena wore a simple black sleeveless turtleneck top over dark skinny jeans. Capping off her look were a pair of pointy ankle booties in classic black leather from none other than Steve Madden. The whole outfit was simple, and perhaps even boring, but I actually found the understated-ness quite elegant.

It’s a little hard to tell which pair (of boots) from Steve Madden Selena is wearing in these pictures, but my hunch is they’re the “Bailen” from Steve Madden’s diffusion line, Steven. Strangely, however, I couldn’t find them in black online, so maybe they’re only available in stores. Either that, or she’s wearing an entirely different pair. What do you think?
