Let’s add one more name to the growing list of celebrities with their own fashion label — Sarah Jessica Parker.

In case you didn’t know it yet, SJP, has just released her very own “SJP” by Sarah Jessica Parker shoe line. Well, scratch that. Make it a fashion line, because shoes are not the only things you will find in the collection. You’ll also see handbags and coats.

I looked through the line-up and I must say, it’s very Carrie Bradshaw of “Sex and the City”. The silhouettes are classic, but always with a touch of playful or flirty twist. You will find that each piece or style is timeless, and can last through seasons.  The shoes in particular, look really well made. I hear Sarah collaborated with the people over at Manolo Blahnik to develop the collection, so I’m pretty confident you’ll get designer-quality workmanship out of every item (they’re made in Italy too!).

Price-wise, they’re not cheap. A pair will set you back between $245 to $485, depending on the style. However, I have a feeling the purchase will be worth it. Here’s a rundown of the ones that really stood out to me.

They’re a little 80’s throwback, but I really like how dainty and ladylike they look. Besides, I think I’m almost over the super-thick platforms and extremely high heels. To be honest, I find these shoes really seasonless and even ageless, which is a plus.

During the launch, which took place at Nordstrom in Manhattan last Wednesday, Sarah wore a pink frock detailed with black lace and black mesh. She unexpectedly finished the outfit with one of the styles from her collection — the Anna.

I find the pairing a little unusual because the sandals are green. But if you step back and look at the combination, it actually looks on point. Would you agree?

So do you like the mix?

I would say that the Anna sandals from SJP are your classic go-to ankle-straps. They’re easy to walk in (heels are just 3.5 inches tall) and very wearable. They’re also available at Nordstrom if you would like a pair. You can have them in green or coral.
