After overdecorating herself with a frilly white dress and Chanel flower-detailed booties the day before, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was spotted redeeming herself in a minimalist ensemble consisting of a long black t-shirt dress and flat sandals while out and about in New York City last Thursday. She accessorized the mix with a green suede chain-detailed purse and some cool eyewear.

Between the second outfit (black dress) and the white number she wore last Wednesday, I actually prefer this one. It’s shapeless, colorless, and un-sexy, however, there’s understated glam going on in there. It’s laid-back and casual, yet also very elegant.
I also love Rosie’s very intriguing sandals; they’re actually quite hard to ignore. Those gold crocodiles at the t-bar of her shoes aren’t exactly common embellishments. If you know your designer footwear, then you must be aware that Rosie’s sandals are from Giuseppe Zanotti. Here they are up close and personal for you:
Giuseppe Zanotti Crocodile T-Strap Flat Sandals, $1166 (was $1295)
Would you like a pair?
They’re currently on sale at the moment. Yes, of course they’re still expensive. A sale price of $1166 isn’t exactly an affordable amount in my books.
That said, these Zanotti sandals are dazzling, to say the least. The crystal-encrusted crocodile emblems are like sparkling jewels for the feet. Put on the sandals and you instantly feel like a million bucks. In fact, whatever outfit you wear with the pair may no longer even matter.
On a side note, for those of you who are on a budget, I recommend you get these $60 Steve Madden sandals instead. These don’t have crystallized crocodiles on them, but the gold chain-link add-ons work well enough to give you a touch of glam:
