You may know her as the lady who attended the 1998 VMAs in a butt-naked dress, but if you look through her resume, you’ll realize that Rose McGowan is actually quite a seasoned actress. She is also among the few celebs who have managed to stay rather ageless despite being over 40 (she’s 42).

I think a large chunk of Rose’s youthful vibe comes from her fashion sense. No, she definitely does not dress her age.

Take for example the outfit she wore while out and about in Beverly Hills on Friday. The actress stepped out in a sporty ensemble of red crop top teamed with a white skirt and standout sneakers. The white kicks had high wedge heels and were detailed with black striped panels. Coupled with her pixie haircut and mirrored sunnies, you could say Rose created quite a statement. She looked cool, sporty, and sexy all at once. And she definitely didn’t look 42 years old.

How do you like Rose’s street style?

I’m not a fan of the actress, but I like her spunk. She’s a wildchild, obviously. But I think that’s part of her appeal. As for the outfit, I think she pulled it off well enough. Would you agree? The sporty kicks did the trick.

Speaking of which, here’s a closer look at the pair. They’re from DKNY. They’re crafted from leather uppers and feature 4.5-inch-tall hidden wedge heels (with rubber platforms at 1 inch thick). You can find them over at Macy’s. They retail at $175.

If you had the sneakers, how would you wear ’em? Will you copy Rose’s sporty two-piece combo, or will you go for something more casual like jeans and a t-shirt?
