Leave it to Rihanna to always make the headlines. After arriving at the MET Gala in a breathtaking all-white ensemble from Stella McCartney that exposed not just her midsection, but her sexy back as well, the popstar went straight to an exclusive after-party in a low-back bronze creation (also from Stella McCartney) that showed off her butt crack. No kidding. Yes, her butt crack.

I think this was intentional. After all, we all know how the-oftentimes-naked celebrity isn’t afraid to flaunt her goods, judging from her latest magazine cover, wherein she appears topless; and of course, let’s not forget the see-through top she wore during Paris Fashion Week.

You have to admit, though, Ri-Ri looks really good naked, er, topless, er, pantyless. Yes?

Anyways, since we’re all about shoes here, I thought you should know that in both the gala and the event’s after-party, Rihanna wore Christian Louboutin heels with her gowns — a pair of white “Iriza” d’Orsay pumps for the ball, and a bronzy set of pointed So Kate pumps for the party.

I have to say, Ri-Ri’s fashion choices for the MET were impeccable. The gowns were stunning, to say the least. I can’t say I’m all for the butt crack. I mean, I love sexy-back dresses, but I don’t think anyone else can bring herself to wear something that low (unless they’re asking for it). However, if you take out that “extreme” detail, the gowns were fantastic. Even more noteworthy were the shoes. They were sexy, elegant, and very ladylike.

Now if you were to pick between the two Louboutins, which style will you wear, the Iriza or the So Kate?

Personally, I’d go with the bronze So Kate pumps. There’s something so glam about the gleaming mirror-like appearance of those shoes. If you feel the same, you can get the look for less with a similar pair from Ivanka Trump. Check out the Carra:

You like?

The Carra aren’t as high as Rihanna’s So Kate pumps. The heels on these shoes are just 3.75 inches tall (versus the So Kate’s almost 5 inches). Also, they’re quite affordable at $90 so I say grab them if they fit the budget.

For those of you who fancy the white Iriza d’orsays, I couldn’t find a close copy so I went with these Nine West Tixilated pumps instead. These also retail close to $90, and are actually a lot sexier to look at:
