One celebrity I rarely see get papped at the airport is Reese Witherspoon. However, that wasn’t the case last Tuesday. Photographers certainly didn’t miss the actress as she arrived and made her way through LAX while decked in an all-black ensemble last week. Unlike the Kardashian sisters (or LeAnn Rimes, for that matter), Reese kept it comfy in flat shoes. However, hers weren’t just your ordinary pair because they were pointed, sophisticated, and were detailed with animal print at the vamps.

How do you like Reese’s plane-ride style? I think it’s perfect. It’s wearable, comfortable, practical, and chic. Simply how one should look for a flight, yes?

And while some may say the outfit is boring because it’s black, I say it’s classic with a twist. I love the white in-shirt (or is that a blouse?) peeking out of her cardigan, and I especially like her animal-print shoes.

Reese’s pointy flats are the Tabitha Simmons Leopard Pony Hair “Alexa”. They’re crafted from patent leather and feature printed pony hair at the inset of the vamps. I couldn’t find the exact variant online, but other renditions are available if you’re interested. They retail at $645:

For the gals on a budget but would like to grab something similar, you can try the following options from Matt Bernson and Charles David. The first pair is actually quite similar to the Alexa so it’s your best bet. But if you want something more striking, you can go printed-calfhair all the way with the pair from Charles David. Which will you grab?
