One of my fave actresses, Nina Dobrev from The Vampire Diaries, attended the 2014 Comic-Con recently. The brunette beauty graced the 20th Century Fox Press Line for the promotion of her latest flick, Let’s Be Cops.
For the occasion, Nina wore a white long-sleeved top and a bright blue flared leather skirt. She complemented the combination with a slim neck tie and classic black-and-white cap-toe pumps. The whole look was very prim and proper, but I love the refreshing twist the blue leather infused into her look. Her pumps were also not the usual. They were crafted from white mesh material and detailed with black leather trim here and there:

Do you approve of Nina’s Comic-Con outfit?
She actually looks like a modern-day hot librarian here. I’m really loving her bright blue leather skirt, but I also like how she combined it with conservative yet sexy looking shoes.
According to sources, Nina’s ensemble is from J. Mendel, while her shoes are from Giorgio Armani. Below is a closer look at the pair. As initially assumed, they’re crafted from mesh material and trimmed with black suede at the toes, top line, heels, and heel counters:

Like what you see?
If you’re a size 10, you can still score the last pair over at Barneys. These pumps retail at a pricey $695 so that may also put you off from splurging on them. That said, you can easily purchase something similar for far less. Try these mesh-detailed pumps from Sigerson Morrison instead. The “Shauna” don’t have the cap toe design, but they’re just as unique. Would you agree?
