Double denim is a favorite combination of mine. I usually pair my chambray shirt and blue jeans with oxfords. And if it’s a denim-cutoffs combination, I like to finish it with pointy flats or skimmers, depending on where I’m going.
Today, I learned a new trick on how to style double denim from Miranda Kerr. The leggy brunette was spotted out and about in New York City while decked in two doses of denim — a denim shirt tucked under a pair of skintight blue jeans.
What made the outfit stand out however, were the shoes she used to punctuate the outfit — bold animal print high-heeled sandals. Sure, Miranda’s Birkin bag and dark eyewear were ever present, but the footwear made a huge difference.
