You all know that Kristin Cavallari has collaborated with Chinese Laundry for her shoe line, right?
The collection is very basic, nothing fancy or over-the-top, but what I like about it is it’s very wearable and very practical. When you look at her shoes, you can actually imagine yourself walking in them. Another plus is that her styles are generally timeless. You can buy a pair and it can last you through seasons (as long as you take care of it, of course).
I also like the idea that she actually wears what she designs. It’s a plus because that means she believes in her label. In fact, she was spotted sporting the “Caylin” booties last week, while making her way through LAX. The look she put together with the boots was really chic too. She wore leather skinnies, a striped tee, a tuxedo jacket, and a hat with the pair, and the whole mix was just super cool.
I guess you could say it was an outfit worth copying. And I for one, will definitely be channeling the look this season. As for the Caylin booties, you can grab a pair over at Amazon for a discounted $120 (it retails at $180). They’re sleek and sexy shoes with pointed toes and 4-inch tall heels. The style also comes in taupe if you prefer something that’s light neutral. Enjoy shopping!
