Last week, everyone couldn’t stop staring at the sophisticated, sleek, and elegant all-neutral ensemble Miranda Kerr put together for a business meeting. This week, however, it’s Kate Hudson who has nailed the all-neutral summer look to perfection.
The actress wore the outfit to her guest appearance on SiriusXM’s Unmasked Special at the SiriusXM Studios in New York City last Tuesday, July 22. It was a simple attire consisting of a white tank top worn under a pair of soft and flowy shorts, plus a matching jacket in the same soft and lightweight fabric. She punctuated the mix with vintage-y blue-lense Ray Ban eyewear, a pendant necklace, and some nude ankle-wrap peep-toe d’Orsay heels.

Doesn’t she look wonderful?
I’m loving the outfit immensely. It’s easy on the eyes, graceful, elegant, and refreshing. I’m getting some “safari” undertones from the light beige separates, but because the pieces aren’t structured and stiff, they’re more feminine to look at. I also like how she paired the outfit with blue-lense Ray Bans and sky-high platform heels because the addition made her look glam and sexy all at once. Simply put, I think Kate looks perfect here.
Would you like to take a cue and wear her look this summer?
If so, then do know that Kate’s two-piece outfit is from Haute Hippie. If you want it, head over to the nearest Haute Hippie stockist in your city because it isn’t available online. You can also try this combination:
Wear these pieces with a white tank top underneath, then cap off the combination with a pendant necklace and nude peep-toe heels. Kate’s pumps are from Aruna Seth. They’re sold out online, but here’s a similar style done in metallic silver and gold for your reference:
The Venus pumps feature stilettos that are almost 6 inches tall. They also come in a full d’Orsay sillhouete, as well as flattering criss-cross straps at the ankles. A pair will set you back $1275.
They’re nice to have, but you seriously don’t need to spend that much to achieve Kate’s all-neutral summer look. Try the Jessica Simpson Carys slingbacks instead. They’re just as sexy and they come in that beautiful beige color:
