Katerina Graham, or Kat for short, is one of those girls I like to watch on the red carpet. The Vampire Diaries cutie has a history of testing her sartorial limits. She likes taking fashion risks by slipping into unusual pieces that are avante garde and one of a kind. I envy her, because she is actually one of the few people in Hollywood who can pull off such outfits without looking ridiculous.
Before the Oscar Awards took place last Sunday, Kat was spotted attending the QVC Pre-Oscar Party held at the Four Seasons Hotel. I think she wanted to channel the flapper era for the occasion because she slipped into a sheer little black dress fashioned with lots of feathers. I mean, a lot, like feathers from her chest down to her knees. She complemented the dress with extra long dangling earrings, smoky-eye makeup, and a black beaded barrel clutch. Well, do you like the outfit? Not everyone can pull off something like that, but she was able to do so with flying colors. Would you agree?
If I had to nitpick, I’d probably say the dress is a little too long. A hemline ending just a few inches above the knees would have made it a winner. And while we’re at it, allow me to discuss her t-strap sandals too. Recognize her heels?
