Radevich is of Belarusian origin, with a wanderlust that brought her from her home country to London and eventually Montreal. She explains how she ultimately came to design—she is the third generation of shoe designers in her family— following a brief foray into marketing in which she realized she prefers working with her hands. She worked at Zara and Aldo and then, having long worshipped Alexander McQueen, Radevich showed up unannounced at the designer’s studio door with beautiful sample work and was promptly initiated into “the kitchen” where design work happens.
